Autoresponders for Automated Follow-Up - Your must-have sales tool

So you have a website or blog, and now you want to build a list, and finally communicate / sell to that list. The most common technique is to create an opt-in form (sometimes referred to as a target page) requiring the person who lands on that page to leave their name, email address and any other information the owner of the site requires.

This part of the page is run by what is called an autoresponder. When a person landing on your site leaves their data automatic answer adds the name to a list and sends the information promised on the page.

There are a number of autoresponders on the market, some other free and paid. Paid on each side are offered as iContact and Aweber. The problem here is billed monthly and the cost tends to increase with the size of the list. If you are just starting out, these costs can climb quickly enough. There is another option that I use called Add2it MailResponder Pro where you pay once for the auto-reply and then you have it, no matter how many lists you decide to build.

The reason why an autoresponder is so important is because people rarely buy what you sell it straight away - no matter what it is.

I know, I know, "But Jack, my product is revolutionizing the industry has been discovered in the African jungle and developed by Dr. Zomba Indigenous peoples have used these secrets to cure hemorrhoids for centuries -.! This stuff is sold "

But the real truth is that nothing is sold! This is why your company is paying to market it. If your product really sold itself, you would not need - they could just download the corners of the streets and watch the money roll in.

Did you know that it takes the average person 7 or 8 times to know before you sign your opportunity? Heck, I remember one person I followed with a year earlier was involved in my opportunity. This is why autoresponders are so important.

You can set an autoresponder campaign that follows with your prospects 24/7.

You can automatically customize to include their name and stuff, but my point is that the automatic response is never a bad hair day. It never gets discouraged, do not get bored. It will always deliver your message with the same enthusiasm and energy that was the day that created it.

Keep in mind that most people are very skeptical with purchasing online, so do not ask a lot of information from them on a first date, ask for no more than 2 or 3 things from them: name, email address and telephone number.

Any more than that is pushing.

In fact, you'll see a lot of opt-in forms out there that just want a name and an email address. It is up to you, but for purposes of network marketing, you probably are going to want your phone number as well.

As a general rule, place your autoresponder on the position at the top right of your site so that it can be seen without having to scroll.

For the title, offer a "bribe" for their contact information. Something like, "Leave us your details to get my" Free Videos - recession proof home business "

Now you must create your own email autoresponder series, remember that people hate to be sold. You need to become an invited guest in their world and welcome e-mail, because if there are opening your emails, what's the point?

A good way to do that is sure to give them a lot of value in any e-mail, and add the link to your product as if it were an afterthought

It 'a very passive way to sell things in the eyes of your prospect, which actually increases the chances that you sell them something.
