Recipe octopus with rice and vegetables


We continue with our healthy and nutritious recipes, in this case we will learn how to prepare a plate of octopus with rice and vegetables.

Do not confuse this with the typical dish seafood cocktail, the splash is a dish typical to home delivery and served cold, but in this case.

Ingredients for 4 people:

1 fresh octopus or a bag of chopped octopus and congelado2 onions (or onion) 1 bell pepper ajo1 verde2 teeth blancocaldo guisantesvino tin of fish (or water), rice (about a handful per person) fresh aceitesalpimentón

Procedure:

We start cooking the fresh octopus in a pressure cooker with a glass of water and salt for about 15-20 minutes.

If you do not have a fresh octopus, no problem, we better with a bag of frozen chopped octopus, make sure to thaw on time and when we do not worry over it, and we'll add them at the end.

Put the rice to boil in a saucepan with water and salt (we left about 12-15 minutes).

While rice is cooking, chop the garlic along with green peppers and onions and two poached in a frying pan with olive oil over medium heat with a pinch of salt. You should use a deep skillet or large pot, as we will introduce all the ingredients in it.

When the vegetables are poached then add the peas and rice, adding a little paprika and stir well.

Then add a glass of white wine and two fish broth or water or, if we cooked the fresh octopus, we add the broth that has been in the pot.

Stir and let the rice boil for about 5 minutes while you prepare the octopus (if fresh octopus cut it into slices).

Add slices of octopus with rice and we put the pan in the oven at 200 ° for about 10-12 minutes.
