How to Improve Memory - 3 Basic Steps
If you want to know how to improve memory, you must first start with a good diet and a mentally active lifestyle. As we age, the brain's synapses, which are the connections of the brain, need constant mental stimulation to maintain its capacity. Therefore, even though you're ready, you still need to enroll in a course or learn a new skill on your own to keep your brain in good working condition.

Dr. Gary Small uses a technique to remember all the things called "Go and Connect mentalizing" which consists of three steps:
- See: You have to concentrate completely on what to remember. Look at it with full concentration.
- Mentalizing: Visualize the thing. If it is a name, create mental images associated with that name. Relate the face to the name.
- Connect: Create more images related to the thing you want to remember, if you learn to relate similar things that you want to remember, you will see that everything will be easier to remember.
The secret to remember things better is to pay more attention to what you do, for example: Many times we forget where we left our keys or wallet because they do not pay enough attention when we leave in a certain place and that is why after a while not remember where they are.
So the secret to better remember: Pay more attention. Use this and you will not forget things so easily.
