Aerolineas Argentinas Develop Your Business Plan With the modernization and renewal of its fleet


The acquisition of these aircraft will be achieved through an agreement signed between President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and former president of Brazil, Ignacio Lula Da Silva, resulting in a loan from National Bank of Economic and Social Development of Brazil to finance part of the operation.

The aircraft have already been delivered and are in operation, generating, finally, Aerolíneas Argentinas flights will have one of the youngest fleets in the commercial aviation market in Latin America. This is the most important purchase of aircraft, by volume and delivery time. The immediate background was acquired in 1970 when twelve o'clock Airlines Boeing 737/200 which were submitted between that year and 1974.

Also in line with the Business Plan was developed first Federal Corridor, that allows joining several provinces without passing through Buenos Aires. This optimization will allow more cheap flights, creating the Hub Aeroparque, thereby improving connection times between flights cabotage and neighboring countries. And from June and runs through Córdoba Hub which will link the Midwest with other provinces and some international destinations avoiding the scale in Buenos Aires.

The first Federal Corridor connecting flights from the metropolitan airport to Bariloche, Mendoza, Salta and Iguazu, and vice versa, allowing interconnection with other destinations like Calafate, Ushuaia and Rio Gallegos.

Other highlights of the business plan that made the modernization of the fleet was the purchase in April of this year, another ten Boeing 737-700 NG aircraft from ILFC (International Lease Finance Corporation). Two have already been incorporated and are in operation, sporting the new corporate image, the other eight aircraft with incomes scheduled for October 2012. In addition, an Airbus 340-300 joined the fleet of widebody aircraft and will be expanded with the arrival of three A-340.
